Dean is a first year student here at UConn majoring in Pathobiology on the pre-med track. He has been living in the Public Health House Learning Community for his freshman year. Being part of a Learning Community has been a great way to get involved at the university and connect with other students. Working at Student Health Services and volunteering on projects through Community Outreach, ResLife Advisory Committee, and the Red Cross are a few of the experiences that have helped him to become involved with the campus community. As an out of state student, living away from home was a big adjustment, but it has been a great experience.
