Matt will be entering his final semester at the University of Connecticut in the spring of 2017. As a Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Human Rights double major, Matt is heavily involved in a number of social justice efforts on campus. He is a peer educator/facilitator involved in the Violence Against Women Prevention Program (VAWPP) and was a member of the Men’s Project. Some of his other peer education efforts include sexual health/safer sex education as well as providing gender and sexual diversity training for faculty, staff, and students. Matt is from Wilton, Connecticut and enjoys dogs, poetry, and making new friends!
